Description: Truck parking is a well-documented problem with myriad impacts to freight movement and costs. Increasing oversight of driving time limits, traffic congestion and slim operating margins all contribute to ever-increasing pressure to locate safe and convenient overnight parking. This session will explore examples of public agencies and private industries working successfully to address truck parking based on an understanding of how it places them in a more economically competitive position.
