Session Description: In our ever-growing, competitive and global economy, those working in waterborne freight are being challenged more than ever to think and act strategically to build business. At the same time, economic development professionals are realizing the value this underutilized mode has to support their efforts in attracting new business investments. In this session, the value of waterways to Ohio will be shared along with examples of partnerships between traditional freight stakeholders and regional economic development professionals.
